Faith Formation

• Deepen the awareness of God’s presence in all our lives

• Mentor young people to live as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ and responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Church
• Nurture personal and spiritual growth of each young person through prayer, Mass attendance, and the Sacrament

Beginning the 2025-2026 year, HSP’s Faith Formation will no longer offer a 4K program. In its place, we are offering a Kindergarten program that mirrors the successful model we’ve been using. Kindergarten will meet on Wednesday nights from 5–6:15PM alongside Grades 1–5.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) will transition to its own independent ministry offering sessions for ages 3-5, that will meet outside of our our Wednesday evening programming. CGS is a beautiful and unique model of faith formation that is slower-paced, deeply contemplative, and rooted in the Montessori method — and we recognize that it doesn’t fully fit the structure and flow of our larger Wednesday evening gatherings.
