Scrip Terminology

RaiseRight:  the company Holy Spirit parish purchases scrip from almost every week. 

RaiseRight.com:  the website for placing your scrip orders.

Enrollment Code: Holy Spirit has an enrollment code that associates your RaiseRight account with the Holy Spirit scrip program. This enables your Scrip credits from Scrip purchases ordered through RaiseRight to be applied to your Holy Spirit Scrip account.  

Bank Account:  ACH transfer of funds from scrip customer’s checking account to RaiseRight for payment of scrip: special order physical cards, electronic cards, and reloading reloadable cards.

Bank Account setup process:  after enrolling in RaiseRight, to enable the purchase of virtual scrip and reloadable scrip and special order physical scrip cards you will need to set up your banking information in the payment portion of the RaiseRight website.  RaiseRight will send two small payments to your bank account to verify the accuracy of your bank account.

E-cards:  electronic scrip that can be purchased from your computer on www.RaiseRight.com or the RaiseRight App for your mobile device. You can purchase an eGift card at check out and have the cashier scan the bar code to pay with scrip!!  Customers must be enrolled in the Raiseright payment program to use e-scrip cards!

When purchased on RaiseRight.com, you can print out the barcode for your eGift card purchase and bring it to the store to be scanned for payment at the regular checkout.

If you are ordering from an online vendor, you can enter the barcode numbers/letters into your payment portion of the vendor’s website to complete your order.

ReloadNow! and Reload:  customers enrolled in the RaiseRight ach payment system may add money to their current physical scrip card if it was previously purchased from the Holy Spirit scrip program and labeled on the order form as reloadable.

ReloadNow!:  scrip card can be reloaded and used within minutes if it was previously purchased from the Holy Spirit scrip program.

Reload:   scrip card can be reloaded but the process takes overnight when the original scrip card was previously purchased from the Holy Spirit scrip program.

Physical Scrip Card:  includes cards stocked in inventory and any special order physical scrip cards available on shopwithscrip.com.

Special Order Scrip:  any physical scrip cards available on RaiseRight.com but not stocked in our inventory. The customer is required to set up and sign in to www.RaiseRight.com to place their order for a non-stocked physical scrip card. This can be paid for from your bank account through the RaiseRight payment system, if enrolled, if not enrolled the customer must bring their physical payment (cash or check) to the Darboy scrip office before Saturday noon to have their physical card included in our weekly scrip order.  Physical scrip cards are available for pickup on Thursday afternoons at the Darboy scrip office during regular office hours.
 
 Direct Check: any scrip through a vendor that we do not stock but have an arrangement with to accept a check minus the scrip credit for payment in full for products/services ordered by Holy Spirit Scrip customers.
